C-54 tile contractors prepare surfaces and set ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, quarry, paver, glass and stone tile, using traditional or newer setting methods. The class also covers stone or simulated-stone slabs for tubs, showers and indoor counters, and thin tile that looks like brick.

That makes C-54 the right license for a tiled shower, a kitchen backsplash or a stone vanity top. Hollow and structural partition tile are excluded.
