Commercial Specialty Contractor Level 2 (CSC2) license in Oregon

Lets a business work in one or two unrelated building trades on small and large commercial structures.

Level 2 covers the same work as Level 1, with a lower entry bar: key employees with at least four years of combined experience.

The state minimums are a $25,000 bond and $500,000 per occurrence in liability insurance. Commercial contractors must carry workers' comp even if the business is in the exempt class.

If the scope grows to three or more unrelated trades, ask whether a commercial general contractor should hold the contract. For work on a house, look for a residential endorsement.
